Below are pics of cross breed chows, these will serve as an early warning to people who plan to purchase chows not from a reputable breeder or backyard breeders. Some can't distinguish a crossbreed chow from a pure breed one especially at pup stage, that's why I encourage everyone to really purchase chows from a reputable/known breeder (not just for chows but for any breed). Unless you really intend to buy a mix breed chow or if the breeder declares the pup/dog as mix during pre-selling or pre-buying stage.

-regarding the Chow x Shar pei mix, although it looks cute I discourage you to admire this type of crossbreeding. Experts say that it has some serious health issues...one of which is that it will experience difficulties in seeing and needed to have a full surgical correction.

cute unta ang chow sharpei noh pero luoy lang kay di sya kakita... lisod jud ning mixed breed sa.. kay di na ta sure unsa ila health problems and unsa ilang temperament.. although i have one mixed breed shih tzu chihuahua... wala pa ko ka sure if naa ba sya health problems ug unsa iya temperament.. unta ok ra kaau sya.. wa pa man gud nao sya nakuha.. by end of sept pa...

dili ko suhito ana chow-husky nga crossbreed bro....wala ra siguro visible nga health prob ana....pero careful lang kay basin sa temperament mo gawas.....chows raba tend to be aggressive in nature, samot ug dili tarong pagka galam....basin hinuon mo amplify iya aggressiveness ani na crossbreeding ba...pero mas nindot kung opposite ang effect.hehe..basin ma laid back sya maayo.hehe.....aw depende ra jud na nuon sa pag galam sa dog.
