TITLE: Senior Accountant dynamic Australian company (3 yrs. experience required)

POSITION LOCATION: Mandaue City, Philippines

STARTING SALARY: 25,000 per month for qualified applicant

Sports in Focus is a young, energetic and fast growing sports photography company who delivers exceptional photography and media services to large sporting clubs and associations across Australia.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and career motivated CPA Accountant to broaden their skills and knowledge of Australian standards, while fulfilling all of our local Cebu business accounting requirements.

Working closely with the Managing Director, your challenge will be to provide in-house accounting for our Holding Company and its subsidiaries, including financial reporting, budgets and payroll and strategic analysis. You will also support the MD in project planning, research and strategic analysis. This is a senior role that demands superior English communication skills, both orally and in writing.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

• A sound understanding of the tax obligations for business in Cebu, Philippines is essential.

• Knowledge of Australian taxation regulations and accounting standards would be highly regarded.

• CPA Accounting qualification with at least 2 years professional work experience is essential.

• Superior knowledge of payroll processes, human resource standards and good business administration practices.

• Sound knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel. MYOB skills are essential.

• Strong financial analysis skills.

• The necessary personal attributes to represent the company at executive level, including superior communication; a team orientation; energy and initiative; flexible attitude to work; sound organisational skills; integrity and discretion.
