    Default which mobo?

i'm having quite a dilemna and i need your opinion... both boards cost about the same... i'm planning to pair them with an i3-2100 for the meantime, hence, you know that i'm gunning for an upgrade anytime soon (prolly an i5-2500k) and a Radeon 6790 video card.... asa kaha maayo ani? if you were to choose between the two, which would you pick... thanks daan sa mga mutubag..

    OR

    Asrock Z68 Pro3 Product Link: ASRock > Products > Z68 Pro3

I was contemplating on whether I'd buy an Asrock Z68 Extreme4 or not but since i don't have plans to SLI or Crossfire vid cards anytime soon, that's why I came up with this two... but definitely it's (the Z68 extreme4) still on my list but i'm considering it as my last option right now...

@dhekoy33, balipseyev and siopao1984: salamat sa reply mga bro...

anyways, one of the purposes of this build is for gaming... pero medium to light games e.g. flash games, angry birds, NBA2K11, race driving simulations ra then pang-torrent and internet.... no rendering, no video editing, none of that stuff... dili sad kaayo ko hilig games nga FPS.. i'm concerned about power consumption... will z68 save me some dough in terms of power savings or will that even matter even if i choose to use P67? I understand that "Lucid Virtu" found in Z68 boards shuts down the discrete GPU when the CPU senses that the on-board video is enough for a specific task like web browsing etc. (correct me if i'm wrong)...

I bet its safe to assume that you will be OCing. You have any target clocks in mind?

@keropi: maybe... dunno much about OCing... but i'm pretty sure i'll try it once i get my hands on a 2500K processor..

    My advise:

Since it will be your first time OCing, it wont be long til you come to an aggressive stage to satisfy your thirst for greater clocks. Thus the P67 is for you for now. Later on, when you've had your fill, you'll come to appreciate the more usable features such as virtu.

Personally, i've had my fair share of overclocking (and burnt boards ) that ill opt for the Z68 anytime. I can still get to a modest OC, not extreme though, and get to enjoy virtu and the IGP, which is part of what you paid for in the processor.
