1st... pag install sa windows 7 ako e partition nya e format dli xa mo error mao ne e display error 0x80070057

so adto kos usa ka partiton daun ma install maka solod nko pero ang usa ka drive unallocated..ako e quick format dli sad mo display sad ug error 0x80070057

Actually solved the issue. Apparently Intel doesn't officially support the ICH5R RAID controller under Windows 7. However, it does work with the latest version of Intel Matrix Storage Manager for the ICH5R RAID controller, which is the 875P chipset.

to make it simple:
go to BIOS. then go to SATA operation. change the SATA operation from AHCI to ATA or compatibility mode, then reinstall windows

^^ +100 boss, I've encountered this same issue before, as what siopao posted I just change AHCI to ATA mode from the bios..
