I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this...

Good day. I am Chester Dagus,MA Candidate, taking up Masters in Psychology-Counseling in Ateneo de Manila University. I am currently doing my thesis on "Natural recovery from shabu" and I am in search for some participants in Cebu.

Initial criteria for participation are as follows: The person used to take shabu but stopped on his/her own w/o any form of treatment (i.e. drug rehabs, self-help groups like AA/NA, and hospitalization).

If you, or if you know anyone who fits the criteria please refer them to me. A follow-up interview will be given to further determine the persons eligibility to participate. I assure people who are interested that the strictest confidentiality regarding their identity will be upheld through the course of the study. A token of appreciation will also be given after the interview. Thank you for your time.

Maybe you would want to include in your criteria the length of time that your prospect has engaged in shabuse (shabu abuse). There are many that have been into it like once or twice or for only 1-2 months but then never really got hooked to it.
Because the longer the addiction, the harder it is for natural recovery to happen. Just my 2 cents...

Thanks for all of your replies. @The kid: Yes, ok lang if the person was taking it with other chemicals. @dv: Yes, there will be other criteria, including length of intake and abstinence, drug dependency/abuse, and others. A screening interview will be given after potential participants are obtained. The screening is a bit long and will take time. That is why i did not include it in this posting. Thanks once again.
