net connection speed and apps

guys, i wanted to be sure that my application for internet is good enough for my need. mostly i will be using it to download movies (illegally of course), games (dota, mmorpgs,HoN,LoL,the likes) as well as streaming.

now the question, ano ang pinakamababang bandwith na ideal for gaming? say i want to play GG, will WiMAX broadband suffice? mejo paranoid kasi ako pagdating sa Wireless, unreliable sya pag bad weather conditions. however, my location is otherwise ideal for a line dsl connection. advise please.
