    Default Clock speed question_


    mga bro, nagwonder lang ko ba, unsaon pag-usab sa clock speed sa computer? ang ako processor is 1.7GHz then 600MHz ra man jud ang clock speed na makaya.

    bios settings might be wrong. pls post specs of mobo, cpu, memory etc.

    kung p4 na, try increasing the FSB kay ang multiplier setting is fixed depende sa proc (unless engineering sample imong proc).

    formula is as follows: proc speed = multiplier x FSB speed (with the multiplier fixed, all you have to adjust is the FSB)

    e.g for a p4 3.0ghz (multiplier fixed at 15x) you have to set your FSB at 200mhz in the BIOS...

    for amd, i think the same applies.

    kung mag-overclock ka, for p4 just increase FSB up until its highest stable speed; for AMD, hehehe! ask other gurus out there...

    bro, unsa ning dili mao iyang speed, during operation na or upon booting? kung during normal operation, basi nag-throttle down ang imong proc mao dili iya speed ang na-detect. kung dili ka ganahan mag-throttle, disable ang intel speedstep. gurus pls confirm...

    normal operation... kana iscan nako configuration sa system with the support.dell.com. kay try nako scan ang PC, insakto man. but if ang laptop, minimum ra jud.

    unsaon pagdisable bro?

    yup its a speedstep

    if you plug it it has full speed

    if you use battery it will use minimum speed.
