    Yes, that is the fastest way to get US citizenship afaik. Nothing wrong with it. People do what makes them happy. I know some people who chose this path, and I say good for them. Personally, I do have this option, but para nako the citizenship can wait. Daghan tuod BENEFITS ang US military but the thing is, very seldom nila i-mention ang DISADVANTAGES---which daghan kaayo.

    na.a ko classmate pag h.s na na.a sa sa marines ron... after serving his term sa iraq (5 years ata to or 7 years) u.s citizen na siya dala na iyang pamilya nad2

    daghan ni disadvantages and i would like to point out dili basta2x mosulod ang non-citizen sa US military.

    if you want a SUPER fast track to be US citizen you can incite a war between the phils & the US. Naturalization laws state that you can be a citizen if you defect and support the army of the enemy.

    dugay na kaayo ni. i have 3 friends nga mao ni ilang gi buhat.
    2 is stationed in iraq . 1 is in japan.

    those guys featured in the article are way past 23 y.o. (the cut off age for rank and file soldier applicants here in our country.) sayon ra gyud kaayo mosulod sa military didto.

    im planning to fight for a US citizenship also.. maybe in 3-4 years time... maybe in the NAVY or in the MARINES..

    This is true. You have to be a legal permanent resident of the US before you can enter the US military. And lately, gi apil na pud nila ang mga temporary immigrants who has lived in the US for a minimum of two years. Basin unya mag tuo ang uban nga bisan kinsa ra pwede mu enter.
