Default Snake Experts: Help ID this snake...

got this baby snake from our backyard this morning. it was so busy tangled around a house gecko it just captured that it didn't mind when I scooped it up and placed it inside a plastic jar. looks like a colubrid to me. but I'm not exactly sure.

Kindly identify lang for me mga snake experts. i just need to know what snake species are lurking in our backyard...and if this one's venomous or not.

thanks for the info blacktits! wolf snake gyud diay.

naa pa ko gusto i-discover here at our new backyard. the loud honking of obviously large frogs after the heavy downpour yesterday. after an online search, i found a match sa call...the african bull frogs. possible na introduced ni sila (accidentally or intentionally) by a hobbyist. pirte gyud daghana and the sound they make really tells you that the animals making them are big. wala lang gyud nako nakita ang actual frogs coz very dense ang vegetation sa vacant lot behind out yard.
