If your route in investing is through the stock market, then any book about financial accounting is a good start....the objective is to understand what's inside a company's financial statement

Recommended book: Warren Buffett and the Interpretation of Financial Statements by Buffett & Clark

if ready naka i-apply TS I can help sa mutual funds na investing. and hopefully covered na imo short term concerns before you invest.

my suggestion for first timers, start lang sa sa mutual funds maski gamay ra aron maka feel ka how it is to invest. then you can either increase your investment in mutual funds or focus on stocks.

experience is a great teacher.
