I'm looking to get a postpaid plan for unli internet for akong phone. my main questions are:

- ang speed


Also anyone have experience with Sun's new "my wifi"

I was recently at the Sun Store in Ayala and they advertise 3.5g speeds. unya naay laptop to sample.

ng check ko ang speeds on Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test ng try ko maybe 10-15 times

ang speeds 0.6, 0.5, 0.7 etc etc. never reached 1 mbps

Hinaya gud pero mao na speed sa akong PLDT 990 pero satisfied nako, or maybe tungod kay naa ka sa sulod sa building, im not sure if open area, or much more near sa cellsite, pero wa pako kita visible cellsite ang sun hehehe.

Pero will wait sa mga reply sa uban.

sometime baya dili consistent ang speedtest, try downloading a file from mediafire. DL accelerators will also help.

i think its the same pero connected 24/7 lang ka sa with plan. .5 .6 .7 speeds are ok na on mobile. you dont run torrentz on mobile right?

i'm currently running mobile internet speed tests on my phone on prepaid sun

and getting speeds of 75 to 100 kbps. pru its 3am in the morning.
my 3g is on setting is on as well.


using my smartbro wifi i'm getting speeds of 200-300 kbps

i'm using Mobile Speed test


anyone mind trying their sun pocket wifi so i can compare results?



ng libog ko what plan i am going to get from sun.

either ang elite 2500 with a samsung galaxy [ which i will sell ]

or

my wifi for 649/799 [ whats the difference? ]
+ the sun unlimited 600 plan


at d same time i will be saving 300 php on my monthly internet bill with smartbro. i will be using the sun my wifi as my regular pc/laptop connection


so akong problem is if mg disconnet ko akong smartbro. i will be using the my wifi for my computer and laptops and when i am travelling i'll be using it for my phone

any advice?

me too, am looking for current users if they are satisfied with the service...am afraid that unlimited internet for my wifi is really not unlimited..just like the unlimited txt with sun cellular, wherein naai limit ang imong per day texts...blocked and forfeited dayon imong load..
