550D or 50D? Which is which?

wow! 2nd body..wahst ur primary body sir? what are your lenses and what are you shooting? 50d is more rigid and well built and faster burst..as for 550d newer model, and has video...for me, id go for 50d.

Primary body is 7D, I also have 500D. My fave lens that I use most, 70-300 f2.8 and 10-22mm f3.5.

Can we also include 60D?

will u be using video alot, kay if your using video go for 550, its just the same sa 600d, mas barato lang. and 60d is upgrade dapat sa 50d but the built is plastic not like the 50d na alloy jud. so para nako its between sa 550d ra and 50d..if nahan kag lig-on 50 d jud.. if u want video and barato adto ka sa 550d.=p

umm, i think sa ila processor, digic 4 for the 60d,pero im not suire ha..plus sa screen resolution nila. other than that its just the same but the 60 has a a lighter body since plastic/ polycarbonate nalan siya, the 50d has an alloy body plus better weather proofing-i think canon decided to make it lighter and more cheaper for cost savings.=p

i have both 50d and 550d best duo i can say, 50d for my wide 17-40L to lessen the weight cause i use a batt grip on it. and 70-200L f4 w/ IS for my 550D back-up cam @foldofus is right 50d is a well built camera compared to its successor which is the 60d and probs lang is that obsolete na ang 50d im not sure if naa pay namaligya.

50d uses the CF memory cards for faster rate transfer just like the 7d while for the 60d they downgraded to SD card (i'm not sure why) i guess for easy access since most lappy's have built-in SD card slots now a days.

mao sad..ila na gisugod ug phase out...try lang sa mga seller diri sa istorya ila mel and camzy...=p as for the specs im not sure..=p double check nalang sa OL.=p pero share lang ko sa ako set up-main cam is 550d with the good old kit lens/ 50mm 1.8 prime, ako back up para dili common is an olympus e410 w/ 14-42 wide and a 40-150 tele. oly has its reputation of its very good skin tone effects and its very dili common jud..=p mupalahi ta sa uban..=p
