Help, My portable hd cannot be detected.

Hello Everyone,

I need your help, I have a 500Gb Seagate Expansion Portable Hard drive and currently I cannot anymore access unto it. I have just bought it last month.

It started when I just copied an excel file and plug it into a different computer to just print it, now my pc could not detect the HD. I tried to plug it into a different computer but still it cannot be detected, when i tried to view it in my computer.

Please help, what should I do with it?

Right Click My computer...click Manage.....dobol click storage.. .dobol click disk management.. .
there u can see all ur storage devices, optical devices...try it. ..

how old is the portable? if warranty better get a cable replacement.

bago pako nakaencounter ani gahapon, di siya muopen sa front panel pero sa back panel pwde.. make sure nga ang autoplay is allowed

1month old palang, bought this in the US. tried using other usb cable pero yung mataas na cable ang nagamit ko. will be looking for a short one..

what do you mean? is that cable bundled with the portable HD? maybe that is the culprit

if your using w7, just type auto in the start menu then put a check mark on Use autoplay for all media and devices found at the upper left side.

i tried my inclosure before... pag load sa computer...
didto siya ni boot sa akong inclosure pag balik nako restart...
