USB 2.0 question

I bought a second hand pci usb 2.0, and it installed in my pc without a problem, however when i plug my portable hd, it would say "the device would run faster if you connect it to a usb 2.0". Why is it so?

did you plug your HD sa imong hub?? maybe your hub is usb 1.1. =)

did you try plugging your portable hd sa main port gyud sa luyo

maybe kanang USB PCI Card imong na palit dili Ver. 2.0. in ader words, gi elad ka.

If your sure imo portable HDD is version 2.0, then the problem lies in your USB PCI Card kay version 1.0/1.1 ra na.

Transfer rate of USB 1.0/1.1 is 110kbps while USB 2.0 is 480kbps for your information.

mao gyd na storyaha.. usb 1.0 or 1.1 gyd na ang iya pci card.. tanawa dw sa net imo pci..
