Paet ato healthcare system! He added that one hospital even drove them away "like garbage."

MANILA, Philippines - A 3-year-old girl is now confined at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) after she was accidentally struck in the face by an arrow that was launched by her 10-year-old sister.
Doctors have pulled out the arrow, which was embedded between her nose and right eye.
The victim, Rachelle, is under observation as doctors want to know if she has to undergo an operation in her right eyes.
She was struck by the arrow last Thursday in Albay province by her older sister, who is deaf-mute.
The victim, however, was only brought to the PGH only Sunday night.
Her father, Ronald Romero, said some hospitals in the province refused to admit her daughter, saying they did not have the proper equipment to treat the victim.
He added that one hospital even drove them away "like garbage."
Rachelle was brought to PGH through the help of the local government.
"Lubos ang aming pasalamat dahil iyung nasakyan naming ambulansiya, hindi kami pinabayaan," he said. "Pagdating namin dito, hindi namin inasahan na may tutulong sa amin."
Her doctors said the girl has been given antibiotics to fight infection and ease the swelling in her right eye.
Rachelle's father thanked those who helped treat his daughter, even as he appealed for more assistance.
"Nagpapasalamat ako sa mga taong di ako pinabayaan, nananawagan po ako na matulungan niyo ako maibalik sa normal ang anak ko," she said.
ABS-CBN's Lingkod Kapamilya stayed with the family at the hospital and helped them for some of their needs.
"Pero nangangailan pa rin si Rachelle ng mga karagdagang gamot na gagamitin," said Lingkod Kapamilya's Jodink Sayo. - Report from Sol Aragones, ABS-CBN News
