Default Inputs on How your PSU died

    Please share your inputs/experiences.

Here's mine.. we had a 5 year old P4 PC and PSU died "peacefully". Started with issue booting up until one day, it never came on. What sucks was it took my motherboard with it as well.. Can't blame it, it's a 5 year old Generic 300W after all

my SST60F modular silverstone psu just died for about 3 months. O_O the incident was when i turned off my pc because i'm done using it and in the morning when i turned it on, it only power up for only 5 secs. RMA Mode for 2 times too bad with that model

    Generic PSU -
I switched the input to 110 volts while the computer is on pooof.
    Another incident
I covered all the air holes with scotch tape since I thought they were useless and PSU is heating like an oven and My PC started crashing. Removed the tapes and the PSU never recovered.

This was a long time ago when branded PSUs were not yet widely used.
