Oh boy, it's really looking like Computex won't be much fun when it comes to motherboards this year, as by now at least half of all the new boards must've leaked. Today yet another model has turned up online and this time around it's Gigabyte's GA-A75-UD4H which sports AMD's FM1 socket for its Fusion processors.
We're looking at a blue PCB board which is surprising as Gigabyte has stated that their UD4 boards and up should all use a black PCB, so we're not sure if this is a picture of an early sample, or if Gigabyte changed its mind for the Fusion boards as they will overall be in a lower-end category than say AMD's AM3+ boards. We'll do some digging on the matter and get back with more details during our Computex coverage.
The board has two x16 PCI Express slots, although the second slot is sharing bandwidth with the primary slot, although this does at least mean that there's CrossFireX support. The board also has three x1 PCI Express slots and two PCI slots. The board only has five SATA 6Gbps ports, as the sixth port has been put on eSATA duty.
One rather interesting feature is the fact that the A75-UD4H sports two internal USB 3.0 pin headers for a total of four front USB 3.0 ports and Gigabyte has gone for AMD's integrated USB 3.0 controller for the front ports. There are also pin headers for another eight USB 2.0 ports as well as a serial port.
It's a little bit hard to tell what's going on around the back, but an educated guess would suggest that we're looking at a PS/2 port, two USB 2.0 ports, four USB 3.0 ports via two Etron USB 3.0 host controllers, a Gigabit Ethernet port, an eSATA port, 7.1-channel audio with optical S/PDIF out and last, but not least, a D-sub, DVI and HDMI port. We'll know for sure next week at Computex and hopefully Gigabyte will have more boards on display then.
