Personal Experience
I have tested this on my iPod Touch and iPad and works great. You can also use its wireless dongle for your desktop and can also connection through your laptop's bluetooth.

I never have to put my iPod/iPad on a dock. I can my iOS device and still listen to music and play games without being tied to a wire. I own X-Mini II and X-Mini Max II and those doesn't compare to this.

I'm selling the one that's still inside the plastic. Never been opened. The item opened is for my own use.
