SynergEcommerce, a small but rapidly growing US-based E-commerce company is seeking a full-time Office Administrator for its newly opened office in Cebu.
Duties and Responsibilities
Overall duties are split between accounting, secretarial and customer service roles.
Responds quickly and in a friendly manner to customer e-mails regarding order status, product questions and special requests.
Processes orders daily to ensure timely delivery from fulfillment partners.
General bookkeeping duties: verifies, allocates, and posts details of business transactions to subsidiary accounts in journals or computer files from documents, such as sales slips, invoices, receipts, check stubs, and computer printouts
May compile reports to show statistics, such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to operation of business.
Checking for errors in account statements and financial records and making required correction
Serve as the receiver of important mail, documents and ordered items delivered to the organization.
Responsible for regulatory filings and paperwork associated with operating in the Philippines and US, including managing filing of tax updates weekly, preparation of quarterly filings and year end reports.
Prioritize the chief operations officer’s correspondence and phone communications to facilitate processing of items for signing or action by the COO.
Qualifications:
BA/BS Degree in Business Administration/Accounting
Strong accounting skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Proficient in excel
Excellent written and oral English skills
