guys, if based on performance between the two gpus, i can see that the hd6950 pawns the gtx560-ti on almost all benchmarks... hmmm

but when it comes to cooling, thats a different story. we all know that the msi twin frozr II is excellent. especially the unique all copper golden ed.

well, i can always OC the golden ed. (900mhz) to match the clock speeds of the SOC (950mhz) right? but the problem is, i dont know how to OC a gpu. never done it before. i know u use something like a software like the msi afterburner or riva tuner. heheh

but wat if im not into OCing a gpu? shud i go w/ the faster hd6950?

or shud i stick w/ the gtx560-ti w/ a better cooler? (im not saying that gigabyte's windforce sucks, i really dont know)

    thats why im confused... grrr...

Depending on the game review site your looking at the 560 or 6950 maybe better in benchmark numbers but in actual usage nvidia's offering gives a more stable frame rate and a more fluid game play experience and not to mention with ATI's always been having tons and tons of driver related issues, Im not saing nvidia does not have any issues but I've never had any luck with ATI hardware and I decide to play my games rather than play with the drivers.

I've been on the ATI camp for a long time and when the 8800 series came out I made a definite swtich, I still gave ATI a chance with the 48xx and 58xx series and Im not impressed.

Dont worry too much about overclocking a GPU, the gains from it are pretty moot anyway unless its something like 150-250Mhz more on the core.

Bottom line is, get what you want you cant go wrong with either option, get what you think is better and not what others or reviewers say is better. I did that and Im extremely happy with my nvidia card.
