...in one case it's true.
The bride-to-be fitted the bridal dress the night (10PM) before the wedding and to her disdain it was waaaaaaay too small to her size. So she rushed up and looked for the designer/boutique of her gown and have it fixed. To her horror it was already closed and the designer was nowhere to be reached. She has to wait the next day (which happens to be her wedding day @8AM and the shop opens at 9AM). To make the story short: the wedding did not push through that day. They have to reschedule it until there will be a vacant slot on the venue.
Hehehe it's a fictional story though.
The topic title is just a superstition. By all means have the bride-to-be fit her dress. It's more "befitting" to do so than have the bride suffer from asphyxia or lack of oxygen due to a very tight dress that prevents free-flowing of enough air hehehe!![]()

i had my gown fitted before the wedding, just to make sure it'd fit perfectly and comfy... dli pa lang maigo =)
the wedding was pushed through and nothing bad happened that day =)
