question on my new WD 500 gb HDD

hi to all istoryans... ask lang unta ko ninyo, nag.install ko sa akong new HDD nga W.D. 500 gb as back up sa akong Samsung 160 gb HDD.. Ni.adto ko sa disk management (windows xp pro sp2) then naay nakabutang nga conversion wizard, without knowing, g.next2 rako, so nahitabu, murag naconvert man to nko ang new HDD into Dynamic Disk, then karn ngformat nko sa HDD, wla lang nako epartition, ang pangutana, sak2 ba akong nabuhat nga naconvert nako into dynamic disk ang new HDD kuyawan man gd ko...or mas maayo if basic type lang siya? TIA sa maka.enlighten nako..

better delete the partition then delete the volume and change it to basic. kay mas complicated ang pag transfer ug file if naka dynamic also daghan pod ug conflict.

@werty: windows man ang common magamit. but sad to say i have encountered a lot using dynamic. one of it is running some applications. mahibong ra ka nga bnew new ang harddrive then mo blue screen... also some of it maka encounter ka ug error sa screen something to do with the harddrive type kuno. and many more to mention.

ako ng gconvert to basic balik bro...den ako gpartition into 2...tanks sa inyong help

if dili nimo buhaton as boot disk then dynamic disk is fine.

but if you want to make it a boot disk then you have to convert it back to basic.

dynamic disk can be configured as JBOD
