You need to cater food for your guests! As for the place, a comfortable place would be your own home kay at least pwede ra ka muyaka sa floor while opening the gifts! Usually, serving of pika pika foods and whine is the way to go kay it really is not so much of a formal event na dapat nimo pa bonggahan! Goodluck and congrats!

Uhm, you can try TARA's CAFE! I think mga days before your event, they would post a TARPAULIN outside saying that:

"On May ___, Baby shower of ________ will be held here starting at 4pm onwards!"

Mao na akong na dunggan ha! Ambot lang if they are still into that! Basta mga venues2x daw something ila ipang ingun ana! hehehe With free anunsyo publiko! heheh

Usually, it is supposed to be a surprise PARTY for the SOON TO BE MOTHER which is ORGANIZED by the FAMILY or CLOSE FRIENDS of the SOON TO BE MOTHER! This is done para maka dawat ug GIFTS for the SOON TO BE BORN BABY! Hahahhaah ERGO, you will SHOWER the UNBORN BABY with GIFTS which the MOTHER will OPEN! hahaha Lingaw ni uy!
