"Smokers show the same attitude to tobacco as addicts to their drug, and their judgment is therefore biased in giving an opinion of its effect on them."—Lennox Johnston, "Tobacco Smoking and Nicotine," 243 The Lancet 742 (19 Dec 1942).

Mrs. Superman has lung cancer and probable cause is passive smoking. So, if you're very adamant amount preventing lung cancer, tell the smoker near you to put out his cigarette.

    Default Cancer in Our Refrigerator.....

Virtually All Modern Disease Is Caused By "Metabolic Disruptors" Found In Everyday Foods And Groceries...

Learn how to avoid these specific ingredients and halt heart disease, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, depression, obesity and more...

If you're suffering from cancer, diabetes, heart disease, obesity or other chronic diseases, the cause of your suffering may be hiding in your refrigerator or pantry right now. After spending more than 5,000 hours studying nutrition and the underlying causes of disease and health, I have identified seven primary food ingredients called "metabolic disruptors" that interfere with the normal healthy functioning of the human body and ultimately lead to the chronic diseases now ravaging our nation. By learning the names of these ingredients and avoiding them, you can actually prevent and reverse serious diseases that many doctors might call hopeless.

In the next two minutes, I'll tell you about one of these "metabolic disruptors," and I'll show you how avoiding it can save you from colon cancer and brain tumors. I'll also prove to you that this cancer-causing ingredient is hiding in your refrigerator right now!

There's a chemical additive that food manufacturers add to virtually all packaged meat products: breakfast sausage, picnic ham, hot dogs, bacon, bologna and many more. This chemical additive is used to give these meats a reddish color so they don't look putrid gray (which is the normal color of weeks-old packaged meat). By itself, this ingredient sounds completely harmless, but when you eat it, it forms highly carcinogenic chemical compounds known as nitrosamines.

These nitrosamines are such powerful cancer-causing chemicals that lab researchers actually inject rats with nitrosamines when they want to give them cancer in order to conduct experiments! Clinical studies that monitored children who consumed this ingredient shockingly revealed a quadrupling of brain tumors and a 700% increase in leukemia. (Ref. www.newstarget.com)

Another study that tracked the dietary habits of nearly 200,000 people for seven years revealed that the consumption of processed meats containing this ingredient caused a whopping 6,700% increase in pancreatic cancer (April, 2005, the University of Hawaii, lead researcher: Ute Nothlings).

Nitrosamines are so toxic that the USDA actually tried to ban them from all packaged meats in the 1970's, but the agency was overpowered by the corruption and influence of meat packing companies. So the ingredient is still 100% legal to use, even though it is highly carcinogenic.

When you eat this ingredient, it results in cancer-causing nitrosamines flowing through your entire digestive tract, ultimately leading to colon cancer as well as pancreatic cancer. Amazingly, this ingredient is listed right on the label!

What's the name of it? Sodium nitrite. It's listed right on the label of almost every packaged meat product you can buy. If you own any bacon, sausage, or lunchmeat product, check your refrigerator right now and see for yourself. You'll be amazed that this cancer-causing ingredient is in so many foods you've been buying for years!

    Default Mammograms cause Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is the leading cause of death among American women between the ages of 44 and 55. Dr. Gofinan, in his book, Preventing Breast Cancer, cites this startling statistic along with an in-depth look at mammographic screening, an early-detection practice that agencies like the American Cancer Society recommend to women of all age groups. According to most health experts, catching a tumor in its early stages increases a woman's chances of survival by at least 17 percent.

The most common method for early detection is mammography. A mammogram is an X-ray picture of your breast that can reveal tumor growths otherwise undetectable in a physical exam. Like all x-rays, mammograms use doses of ionizing radiation to create this image. Radiologists then analyze the image for any abnormal growths. Despite continuous improvements and innovations, mammography has garnered a sizable opposition in the medical community because of an error rate that is still high and the amount of harmful radiation used in the procedure.

    Effectiveness of Mammography
Is mammography an effective tool for detecting tumors? Some critics say no. In a Swedish study of 60,000 women, 70 percent of the mammographically detected tumors weren't tumors at all. These "false positives" aren't just financial and emotional strains, they may also lead to many unnecessary and invasive biopsies. In fact, 70 to 80 percent of all positive mammograms do not, upon biopsy, show any presence of cancer. At the same time, mammograms also have a high rate of missed tumors, or "false negatives." Dr. Samuel S. Epstein, in his book, The Politics Of Cancer, claims that in women ages 40 to 49, one in four instances of cancer is missed at each mammography. The National Cancer Institute (NCI) puts the false negative rate even higher at 40 percent among women ages 40-49. National Institutes of Health spokespeople also admit that mammograms miss 10 percent of malignant tumors in women over 50. Researchers have found that breast tissue is denser among younger women, making it difficult to detect tumors. For this reason, false negatives are twice as likely to occur in premenopausal mammograms.
