its a good alternative to the canon glass. i used a Tamron 17-50 f2.8 for a year, twas sharp. make sure to test the unit before buying. there might be focusing issues sa imo mapalit.

then 28-80 it is! although the 75-300 would suffice it would be too troublesome to keep on moving back. lol
iono if this is a good lens but if you have the money, you should consider other lenses that fall within the same range as the 28-80
