WD Essentials 160gb Problem

Good Day mga istoryans.

I Really need help with this problem.

ang wd essentials ext hdd nako dli na xa makit.an sa my computer or either dli sad ma access. pero inig tan.aw nako sa notifications sa taskbar. naa ang device nka connect pero dli makit.an. dn sa disk management makit.an xa pero unallocated.

how to solve this problem? i googled it for an hour but lain man ang results.

need ur help expert istoryans

same with my seagate expansion portable drive...they're driving us nuts...been searching for possible answers. most of what i read are reviews on pros and cons of the device. i had it checked at the store where i purchased it, too bad, its subject for sending to the manufacturer...my files isnt assured to be retained.

Try typing E:\ on the Address Bar or whatever expected drive letter your external HDD is.

Gi check nimo sa Device Managager if na detect xa tarong?

If naa kay Portable Linux try to see if ma detect xa......

i'll try that linux thing tomorrow. gi check nsad na nako pero naa man xa. ako xa gi uninstall. dn gi scan for hardware change. nya auto nya gi install ang driver dn dli man japn makit.an

im guessing nahulog ni sa... try to open it and reseat the connections. u can google it how to disassemble the external hdd

@werty : wala man ni xa mahulog sir. ka2 ra ni pag back up sa mga files sa isa ka hdd daw.

try to change the cable....maybe theres not enough power on the cable you are using to run the HDD>.. or change the drive letter as well...
