DIY Car Paint Polishing

Anyone tried polishing/buffing their own cars here?

I recently bought a Turtle Wax Polishing Compound and have been googling on how to apply/use it. So far the worst case scenario iv read is that swirl marks could happen if too much pressure is applied when buffing it by hand.

anyone else tried using this product? if not, what polishing compounds can you recommend? mine is a 5yr old car so as what iv read, it already has a clear coat on the paint.

was thinking of bringing it to a shop but i like to do it personally. i kinda like DIY stuff and i think i can do a more detailed job than some of the shops around. plus id like to make this a hobby. maka exercise pa gyud ta gamay pang cardio.hehehe

kaya ra na nimo sir. mostly DIY ra sad ko sa ako motor ug auto . turtle wax pod ako gamiton usahay. usahay pod katong rubbing compound.

tip lang , if first time nimo adto pag sugod sa small parts sa imo auto. para pod ma practice nimo. good luck sir!
