Default Open Source Farming! This is what our country needs!

This is an awesome project! Watch the video!

YouTube - Marcin Jakubowski: Open-sourced blueprints for civilization

I think if Filipinos are really serious in making this country work, first is to re-examine genuine land reform (so "average" people can start owning back some farm land), then let common Filipinos learn all these open source farming technologies so that we can really be self-reliant and have a good, stable economic backbone.

Ironically, what will stop this idea, are our own politicians (because they own most of the land in this country).

So stop hoping for ANYTHING in this country--I hate it when people start "HOPE" threads when they themselves know diay nga unless we get rid of all traditional and "dynastical" politicians in this country and start from scratch, walay mahitabo nianing nasod.

I'm surprised that you're even aware of Open source ecology rodsky.

are you by any chance, a proponent of RBE?

I would consider myself more of a "fan" rather than a proponent. In my understanding, to be a proponent would entail that one has sufficient in-depth knowledge of the knowhow and skill not only to apply this in the real world, but also "carry the torch" and be an effective speaker on the topic owing to one's in-depth grasp of such methods. Thus, one would be in a better position to actively promote the idea.

I think instead of aiming for Land Ownership, farmers should consider the idea of building a nationwide corporation, with each farmer contributing their land for shares of stock.

I dont think Land Ownership is the key to wealth or prosperity. In business, its more important to have a good product or service, with an efficient means of producing the product or providing the service. That to me is more important than land ownership.

Look at the countries richest people, while it is true that they also own large areas of land, but the key to their wealth was not land ownership, but a being able to provide a good product.

    Henry Sy sold Shoes

    Lucio Tan manufactured Cigarettes

John Gokongwei was in Buy and Sell

While owning land is an advantage, it is not the key to prosperity.

What do you guys think of this idea?
