1st IDE: 1 Primary Master Harddrive, 2 Secondary Slave Harddrive.
2nd IDE: 1 Secondary Master Harddrive, 2 Extra For Secondary Slave like Optical Drive.

NOTE:
Just Make Sure That You Set The Proper Jumper Settings of The Hard Drive
Before You Place It In The System Unit to the Motherboard.

Also You Must Have At least 300watts Power Supply or Higher.

For Sata:

Just Follow The Sata Number On The Board. Automatic Kung Kinsay Nakataod Sa Sata 1 mao ang unang Basahon.

if combination sa BOTH:

IDE Comes in To Booth 1st. If Gusto Ka Sata Ang Unang Mo Boot. Adto Ra Ka Sa Bios Harddrive Boot Settings.

1 more thing, 500watts ako power supply, then ang mga power cables sa power supply kay nakabutang na sa 2 hard drive,fan, and DVDR...do i need to look for another cable??

if naa pay connector ang other side sa imong fan pwede kung wala palit ka ug ingon ani.

@NiveD: obsolete na karon ang 500gb na IDE sir. Sata na karon ang available sa market. so better upgrade.

pwede basta imong motherboard naay sata ports. kung wala mag palit ka atong ide to sata adaptor.
