GPU Loads 99% on Idle?

I have encountered these type of problem, my 5870pcs+ loads 99% on idle, but amd says that they have not solved yet this problem. Some says firefox4 has lots of debugs and also adobe flashplayers and 11.3 catalyst drivers.. For the mean time i have just disabled Mozilla hardware acceleration and adobe flashplayer acceleration. But these solutions are still under observation.

try 11.4 preview bro. 11.3 is pretty much known to suck.

If your using firefox 5 try to disable GPU rendering and reboot your PC see if the problem persists.

wala man bro but 11.4 might fix it. AMDs driver team has been working on 11.4 for a while and is the one they are really banking on. This is why 11.3 sucked so bad... AMD has this tradition of releasing timely driver releases (once every month or something like that) na murag obligatory bitaw. Bisan way ayo release sila.... mas maayo pa mo release sila as soon mas ma tiwas jud ug tarong...

I had the same issue with my 5870 using 11.3 Cabz. It happened when i let Windows upgrade the driver. Always 99% even at idle. I uninstalled it then installed a fresh copy of 11.3, issue solved. Looking forward to 11.4.

Ill just stay with 11.3 for the meantime. Maniid lng sko unsay dagan sa 11.4 ky ok pa man dagan sa akoa now. Not sure pila size sa 11.4 karon. So..if it aint broke, it aint need fixin'..hihi..

Yep 11.3 is crap. There was a review of 11.3 on tweaktown when it released. The reviewer said that when he asked AMD about the 11.3 driver, all they kept talking about was how great 11.4 is going to be. If you look at the review sites for the 6990, they're basically using 11.4 preview cuz it's currently the best performing driver even if it's not even done yet
