Though rock music sounds pleasing to us, it is embedded with subliminal messages that programs our mind which eventually mold our being and personality. That is why as we can notice there'll be times where a person reacts or respond to a certain situation very differently...in the effect of the kind of music he used to listen.

It is better to filter what kind of music we should listen to. There are times that i also listen to rnb, selective slow rock, but most of the time I prefer listening to Love songs, instrumentals and gospel songs.

    Creeping Death
    by: Metallica

    Slaves, Hebrews born to serve
    To the Pharaoh
    Heed to his every word
    Live in fear

    Faith, of the unknown one
    The deliverer
    Wait, something must be done
    For hundred years

    So let it be written
    So let it be done
I'm sent here by the chosen one

    So let it be written
    So let it be done
To kill the first born Pharaoh son
    I'm creeping death

    Now, let my people go
    Land of Goshen
Go, I will be with thee
    Bush of fire

    Blood, running red and strong
    Down the Nile
    Plague, darkness three days long
    Hail to fire

    So let it be written
    So let it be done
I'm sent here by the chosen one

    So let it be written
    So let it be done
To kill the first born Pharaoh son
    I'm creeping death

    Die by my hand
    I creep across the land
    Killing first-born man

    Die by my hand
    I creep across the land
    Killing first-born man

    I, rule the midnight air
    The destroyer
Born, I shall soon be there
    Deadly mass

I, creep the steps and floor
    Final darkness
    Blood, lambs blood painted door
    I shall pass

    So let it be written
    So let it be done
I'm sent here by the chosen one

    So let it be written
    So let it be done
To kill the first born Pharaoh son
    I'm creeping death

That's why James Hitfield was called the Master of Lyrics in Rock music because of his usage of subliminal messages in most of his lyrics.

I haven't seen any person who used to listened to this kind of music that has an improved character and becoming more righteous.

That's confusing in his side brod. As what Jesus said, ye cannot serve two masters, either you will hate the one and love the other. ye cannot serve God and mammon.

I think it's up to the person if he/she will let this kind of music affect his/her personal views of life and religious faith. I listen to some heavy metal gig... but it does not screwed my way of thinking...
