well this is a true story....
i grew up with a kid from china. he was born in china and came to the phil around 7years old with his sisters. his parents died at an early age. so they struggled alot. with little to nothing.
we met at school around grade 4. we became best of friends because we had alot in common. we have the same family name and the same birth dates. i remembered he was like a provinciano. not knowing how to use the telephone and didnt even know how to open the car door. he was living in carbon a realy bad place to live but that was all they could afford. they had a really small business selling clothes.
he was forced stop school. he was like 14yearold. for the reason he had to watch over the small business. in time through HARD WORK, LUCK, THE ABILITY TO LEARN and PERSEVERANCE. he made it.
7 years and counting...
he is one of the riches man i know in cebu.and his still 21 years old. from that little store. he expand to 4 more outlets. ITS the busiest store you can find in manalili street. and the current owner of APM mall thats the mall across SM. theres no hanki pangki business her. no illegal stuff just plain hard work
y the riches man? he bought a house this year over 40m in mabolo he currently owns 4 luxry cars.
but still wakes up at 7 in the morning and goes home at 9pm. yes thats hardwork.
anyway... he had the same dream when we were younger. we wanted to change the world and helped out.
surprisingly he did. how??
this is what he teaches everyone.
this is how business should be done according to him.
when we buys things at 100 pesos.
dont sell it for 200
not even 150
sell it for 110 pesos.
"bahala na gamay basta na a daghan mu palit" thats what he told me and he added
"kung ing.ana lng tanan mu sell d mag lisud ang tao"
"kung mu palit ka ani ako d ko ma dato d sad ka ma pobre"
i dont think i can find a store thats sells cheaper than him.
imagine u could buy jeans for less that 150pesos.
where else can u find that...
then it got me thiniking btw nuh.. sakto sad.
when u do whole sale you can buy a pair of slippers for less than 60 pesos each.
imagine that people are selling those slippers for 200-250 thats more than 200% of the original cost.
im currently studying at a university. i was taking entrepreneur ship. we had a guess speaker
he currently owns a well branded and establishes clothing line. he told us what he did during his college days. he would go and buy a shirt for 40 pesos and sells it for 150 to his classmates and he was very proud of it. and even teaching us students to go for a 100% percent mark up. after that i talk to my teachers and my teachers told me there is nothing wrong with that. after that sem i decided not to proceed with being an entrep in that university.
for me if everyone would do business same as with my friend.
LIFE WOULD BE A LOT easier for us filipinos.
