    Default AMD Procie's and VC

I Have a question, What's the MAJOR difference between Athlon II and Phenom II? (not including the name and price)
    like for example:
    AMD Athlon II X4 640 (3.0ghz) 2mb --- P5100
    AMD Phenom II X4 840 (3.2ghz) 2mb - P5300
    AMD Phenom II X4 945 (3.0ghz) 8mb - P7070

-Prices are from the srp list of PCX as of March 24, 2011-

also what is the 8mb for anyway?

Next is the video cards. What would be better? A 1mb DDR3 256bit card or a 1mb DDR5 128bit card?

What's more important in a graphics card, Memory Size, Memory Type or Bandwidth(not sure if this is the proper term for bit)?

Also could you guys recommend me a motherboard that's not too pricey, supports Athlon II / Phenom II processors and supports up to 16gb of RAM?
    Crossfire or SLI is optional

lamats (sensya kung nga english2 ko kay mas sayon e pangutana kung english)

stick w/ the phenom 2's because it has a more efficient architecture. and greater l2/ l3 cache because this plays a lot wen it comes to improving pc performance not to mention gaming performance and how much fps. and you'll notice a dramatic difference in real world experience w/ more l2 and l3 cache
althought if it wer me, id stick w/ the newer sandy bridge Intel's~

DDR5 is definitely better~ its the way to go~ it quad pumps ur memory speed~

and in video cards~ the more ROP's, bandwith=gb/s, the better!!!!

id go w/ nvidia though~ they have cuda!!!! and not to mention tesselation~ technology that is parallel to all of its steam processors~

    MSI 890GXM-G65 AMD890 Xfire 6600php
get this it has dual pci-e for ur crossfire needs
not to mention usb 3.0 and sata 3.0 support
    supports up to 16gb ddr3 ram~

heres an example nvidia gtx 460 192 bit 756mb ddr5 memory
well memory size will depend on how big of a monitor u will use and wat resolution:

the processor(clock speed/ bandwith/ pixel filrate/tixel filrate) and type of memory(ddr5) is the major determinant of speed.

as for 192 bit: that is the memory interface, its like how much of that processing power can be delivered at that certain time, its like the road that links the comp and vid card. the bigger, the more efficiently the video card can deliver better performance, 256 bit above is sufficient

What's the MAJOR difference between Athlon II and Phenom II?
-Most obvious difference is that PhenomII has L3 cache

also what is the 8mb for anyway?
-the size of phenomII L3 cache used

    What would be better? A 1mb DDR3 256bit card or a 1mb DDR5 128bit card?
-depends on the chipset used. refer to this chart for general performance difference Graphics Card Hierarchy Chart : Best Graphics Cards For the Money: March 2011

What's more important in a graphics card, Memory Size, Memory Type or Bandwidth(not sure if this is the proper term for bit)?
    -same answer as above

-this one comes cheap A785GM-AD3 AM3
    ECS A785GM-AD3 Amd785/V/S/GL - Motherboard - Components

    What's the Cache even for?

So the bigger the cache the better.

What is the difference between AMD Athlon

AMD Athlon™ II processors bring together value and multi-core processing power to deliver excellent mainstream performance. Mainstream users will find the performance of AMD Athlon II processors is more than sufficient for everyday PC use and maps well to the average consumer’s computing needs.
The enthusiast market tends to be a smaller community with more intense expectations for higher gaming performance and overclocking headroom. AMD Phenom™ II processors are designed for more intense workloads and users with more sophisticated skill sets, such as overclockers.* Consumers may decide on AMD Phenom II processors if they are avid gamers looking for the utmost performance, or focus on digital media creation with the most demanding, cutting edge applications.
AMD strives to deliver solutions that meet consumers’ computing needs at a value that can enable a positive buying experience. It’s all about the right solution and the right price.

    its 1GB bro. not 1MB

most important : Family Architecture..also known as CHIP SERIES

Radeon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
GeForce - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Second : RAM Speed | bit

think about this : common example-

RAM Speed = Water pump RPM
RAM Capacity = Water Pump Capacity to hold in gallons
RAM bit = Water Pump pipe dimension | the bigger, the best!

that would be the AMD 890DFx...since naa naman mga 9 series
