Some pundits say that Dual core phones seems to be the next big thing, but Im not completely sold because I dont know how its gonna affect battery life. Current single core smart phones are already struggling with battery life, so much more for dual core phones...

Daghan man new phones, ill be anticipating the Samsung galaxy S II, which has dual core, and 4.3 in amoled screen , thats huge!

I think dual or quad is the future, just like pentuim series 4 which are batt power hungry than dual core yet lesser cpu power output.

xperia arc is thin, nindot sad ilang mobile bravia engine but its a single core phone. price wise... think same ra cguro ni sila duha so i'l bet on s2 since its dual core and same price ra... but wala pa man app na mufully utilize sa dual core...

I agree, not all apps pa are fully optimized for the dual core procs of the SGS2.. but its still better that the hardware is fully ready and capable already when the time comes that those apps are fully develop.. I'm sure a lot of developers are being paid already by Sammy to make apps suited for their dual core smartphones.. On the customers side, it's just a waiting game only.....

but yeah... sgs2 na lang jd, same price ra but with better hardware. you could always go for the quad core psp vita for gaming and just get a single core phone XD same ra sad sila price... XD hahahah off topic hinuon XD

So far Sammy is on the top of the Smartphones list wordwide.. S.E. is behind, not to mention Apple and of course HTC, Microsoft and Nokia...

I'm sure the battle of Smartphones will still be very evident this last quarter of this year.. Expect Apple's Iphone 5 to grab a niche in the Smartphone market when it will be release this September. It would be grabbing tech news worldwide.. Though I doubt Sammy would just settle being a contender. I'm sure they would bounce back with another dual core smartphone of their own. (Probably within the first quarter next year)
