Before you familiarize with your iStorya.net's TweetBoard,
I suggest you familiarize first Twitter.
You go to your Twitter Account on a different tab of your browser.
Go to:
Twitter
You sign in and it will automatically direct you to your HOMEPAGE.
This is how mine looks like:
If we don't have the same homepage, probably your on the OLD TWITTER.
I suggest you familiarize the new Twitter look since it's more functional
and it's easier to use. To do that just click the SWITCH TO NEW TWITTER
on top of your homepage:
MOVING ON..
These are the parts on your homepage:
1.) SHOUTBOARD - This is where you type your tweet.
2.) TIMELINE - This shows the recent tweets for the people YOU FOLLOWED only.
3.) @MENTIONS - This tab directs you to a list of people mentioning your username in their tweets.
4.) RETWEETS - This tab directs you to a list of people RETWEETING YOUR TWEETS,
RETWEETS OF THE PEOPLE YOU FOLLOWED (regardless if it's yours or not), and YOUR RETWEETS.
5.) SEARCH - This tab directs you a list of your SAVED searches.
6.) LISTS - This tab directs you to a list of LISTS FOLLOWING YOU, LISTS YOU FOLLOW, and YOUR OWN LISTS.
7.) NOTIFICATIONS - This will automatically be updated every now and then showing the
most recent tweets by, again, the people you followed only.
8.) TWEETS - This shows the most recents tweets by the people you followed.
9.) YOUR TWEETS - Shows your # of tweets and your most recent tweet.
10.) FOLLOWING - Shows the # of people you're following.
11.) FOLLOWERS - Show the # of people following you.
12.) FAVORITES - Shows the # of your favorite tweets and youre most recent favorite tweet.
13.) LISTED - Shows the # of lists your are listed or lists that are following you.
14.) TRENDS - These are the Top 10 trending topics worldwide.
15.) WHO TO FOLLOW - These are the recommended people that you follow.
I'll continue discussing about the MENTIONS, LISTS, FAVORITES, TRENDS, and RETWEETS tomorrow. And other stuffs you can do to your Twitter.
LISTS
Go to your LISTS tab and this will appear, a list of your current listings
ICON LEFT: To edit the lists name, description
ICON RIGHT: To delete the list
I clicked a list named ISTORYA, and this is my Twitter feed for ISTORYA
1.) FOLLOWING : These are the list of people whom you included in the list.
ALL TWEETS of the people you followed/included in the list will be shown on the Twitter feed of the said listing.
2.) FOLLOWERS : These are the list of people who followed your list. They will be able to keep track of your list too.
IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY LISTS YET, you may create one NOW!
This is a helpful tool so that you may keep track of the tweets by group.
Just click the LISTS tab and a drop-down menu will appear.
Click CREATE LIST
Search for the people you want to include in your listing.
BUT THERE'S AN EASIER WAY TO DO THAT
Just go to your FOLLOWING tab (list of people you follow)
Beside FOLLOWING button, there is an ICON for the lists there.
When you click that a drop down will appear with the current LISTS you have.
Then, just check on the list of your desired listing for that particular person you are following.
Another is a LIST FOLLOWING YOU.
These are the lists where you are included/followed.
CHECK : You are following the list
PLUS : You are not yet following the list but if you want to follow the list, just click the button
There you go!
LIST DOWN ALL ISTORYANS in one LISTING.
In my case I have 116 istoryans listed in my @hinikkipee/istorya listing
and 12 are following my list
NOTE:
Whatever you Tweet directly from your
User Name (Username) on Twitter
will not reflect on iStorya.net's Tweetboard.
But all Tweets from the TweetBoard will be shown on your Twitter Profile.
