This thread is intended for those who are still considered as newbies (like me) when it comes to car maintenance.

I hope that experienced car owners and mechanics could share their knowledge about basic car maintenance like what are the things to be done daily, weekly, or how long should a car be checked and also some recommended shops here in Cebu.

I can't find a thread such as this here so I think that it would just be appropriate to start one.

if your car is brand new, you can check you owners manual for periodic maintenance..

if you wanna have the best maintenance, do what the casa tells/suggesting you to do... medyo mahal but worry free cause they sometimes change the parts on a certain point even if it still works well... they call it "preventive maintenance".. hope this helps

every 3,000 or 3months which ever comes first ( for ordinary oil)
every 5,000 or 6months which ever comes first ( for full synthetic oil) been doing this for the past 20 years

daily check sa oil level, brake fuid, steering oil og radiator coolant.
signal light og brake test before ka gawas sa garage.
