Im just wondering..kay kasagaran naku makit an bah..bisan sa mga professionals na ha, mahadlok or mas mo prefer lagi sila ug girl na di nila ka level intellectually. Kay according pas akong guy friend, he said lisud ang succesful/bright na babaye kay naay chance na di dayon mopatoo niya kay labi na mas bright pa niya. Daghan pangutana ug uban.

Are you guys really intimidated

naa uban smart/bright girls but when it comes to LOVE thingy...mejo NOT SO, you know nah what i mean. naa sad gani uban not so smart/dumb girls pero when it comes to that...hanas or hustler na kaayo mao pay mang-under ug ikal. hehehe

Men should even look for Women of this status... "Miss Independent" so they say..
for me that is such a big turn on.
and no it won't be much of an intimidation as much as it is a challenge, not that love is a game but with how the world goes nowadays and how the love game is played, wouldn't we all like some real challenge and a chance for a shot on the real thing called LOVE?
I think a man who settles for a sub-par girl (intellectually and socially speaking) is a Looser!!
Why not a smart lady? Don't you think its boring talking to a dumb girl?

so para mas enjoy IMHO mas better na find ka ug woman nga mucompliment sa imo instead of finding somebody nga parehas nimo.

Well, I wouldn't call them intimidated for one, but perhaps men are simply used to the control they have over others. Intelligence in any form is a direct threat to that control.

You have to remember, men are very competitive by nature. They (or we) tend to like to be in a position of superiority, which means often times they have to be the expert on everything, even if they aren't. They always have to be the one issuing commands.

I would have to say that men are intimidated by smart and beautiful people. Anytime a man perceives that someone is more intelligent or more attractive than he is (or out of his league) he will inevitably feel threatened.

If you listen to two women discuss a topic, they both take turns, share ideas, and are just generally courteous to one another. If you listen to two men discuss the same topic, it sounds much more like an argument, where one or the other is trying to show his superiority through his greater knowledge of the subject.

Also, another reason men might be intimidated by some women is simply that an intelligent woman breaks away from the traditional feminine stereotype. Being openly smart somehow makes one, in a way, less 'feminine,' if you will.

However, I really do appreciate intelligent women. I'd love to go out on a date and be able to have an intelligent conversion with her.

Hmmm... For me, I don't get intimidated, instead i get interested.. I have to admit though, that sometimes I feel little when i'm next to a smart and successful woman.. especially when she's well-off.. And I believe its not only me who feels this way, a good percentage of men do as well.. however, if you are able to break through the wall of apprehension.. you then start to realize that the smart and successful woman is just like an ordinary person who desires to love and be loved..ú
