Naa bay instrument nga maka measure ug cold? or does cold realy exist?
"You can have lots of heat, even more heat, super-heat, mega-heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat but we don't have anything called 'cold'. We can hit 458 degrees below zero, which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that.
"There is no such thing as cold, otherwise we would be able to go colder than 458 - You see, sir, cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat. We cannot measure cold. Heat we can measure in thermal units because heat is energy. Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it."

u can measure temperature but not cold![]()
*correct me if i'm wrong![]()
same way you measure heat.. by using a thermometer.. cold is the absence or lack of heat, but that's relative.. let's say you use your own body temperature as the basis, anything with a temperature above that is considered warm/hot, anything below that is cool/cold..
if your parameter is quantitative, then it can be measured.
in the science of measurements, we use thermocouples to measure temperature.
we do not measure hot nor cold. those are qualitative parameters.
saman ts, ganahan ka mag metrologist?
Nah... moabot napod tag Thermodynamics ug Heat Transfer ani...
True, there is no such thing as cold, dili pod na siya matawag absence of heat. Kay Heat is a form of energy. Even kanang cold sofdrinks nimo , naa gihapon na heat energy. Temperature siguro ang ubos.
