any ram would be good for gaming, u wont even feel or notice any difference in either cheap or expensive ones unless overclocked together with an overclocked system...

why go for an expensive set of RAM when it barely even makes a difference w/ everyday apps...

and w/ gaming performance, the difference is only minimal...

so why bother spending 5k-10k for a set of xtreme RAMs when you can get a decent set for 3k-5k...

for me, the best benchmark is the money left in my pocket...
