I think we should stop being so sensitive about these things. If we give them attention it provides a platform for people who aren't that important in the first place...

If she looks down on us.. what about manila, how is it compared to other places in the world? I think people in Tokyo, HK, etc also look down on them. Remember the saying.. there's always someone richer than you, better looking, smarter, stronger and funnier. So let's not let pride get into our heads.

I think the local TV stations are filling the people's head with nonsense and reducing our collective intelligence with brainless entertainment.

i'm in the opposite side of the globe and I don't watch showbiz and never did in the U.S. or in P.I.

need of information is totally different from broadcasting information.

hehe no uy.. hate is too strong of a word. In general, I don't really like TV for the most part because I think it is a waste of time and in a country like ours I wish people would do more constructive things with their time than watch garbage, because that's what TV is for the most part. Now I'm all for a little entertainment from time to time, but a lot of people are spending way too much time watching TV. I just happen to think that of all the local channels ABS-CBN seems to be the worse, and in my view they really poison the mind of the public with propaganda designed to advance the interests of the owners.

Pero back on topic.. I have not heard anything about this rumor, but that's because I don't watch ABS-CBN. But I still say it isn't important because the person who supposedly said it isn't worth the attention.
