    Default Intel i3 (1st and 2nd gen)

We're planning on setting up a computer gud unya ang budget is 25~30k. Mangutana lang ko which is better? Ang 1st gen i3's or ang 2nd gen i3's? And a decent mobo for the proc, as well as where to buy it. I have my eyes on i3-2100 by the way. But if naa mo'y better suggestions, please don't hesitate to post. We might consider it.

Of course the 2nd Gen i processors are better. But still the 1st gen i processors are good enough to support our needs.

if you have the budget go for the latest ang greatest. but note that there is an issue on the chipset for sandy bridge proc. just wait till they release the B3 Stepping boards

@jaez: Exactly bro! your definitely right!

That's the reason why ASUS suggested me to get 1156 instead of sandy bridge. Even they had fixed it and released to the market it would definitely ruined the chipset reputation a bit. So beware.
