pag atom na lang sir murag tag 3k kapin ang board proc bundle naman daan... then pair it with a WD green hard drive... memory... then baratohon na mini itx na case with psu

u will end up less than 10k... if we are looking at just the rig only not including the peripherals and monitor

Might I suggest this router, Asus WL-520gU. Flash it with tomato firmware and use "teddy bear" utilities. Just add a usb hard disk and youre set. Your interface is you pc's web browser but you can turn off your pc when you're set. Meaning imo ra router ga download sa files, no need for the pc to be on.

If heavy downloader ka, you might wanna check out the Asus RT-N16, faster processor, more ram. The process is still the same, flash to tomato firmware, use teddy bear's utilities.

I'm using the asus rt-n16, power consumption as you can imagine is very low, you're only using the router, nothing else.

    Asus WL-520gU - last time i checked, 2k
    RT-N16 - 6k

oh.. before anything ill post ang cons sad

    1. due to the router handling file transfers via network, slow inig balhin sa files nimo from the usb drive to your pc.

    2. if you dont have a ups connected sa imo router, sometimes inig brownout, mabuang ang firmware. a restart will usually cure it but sometimes, you need to reinstall ang utilities. at first nahasulan ko but got used to it and its fine now.

    Tomato
that where you want to go if you're interested on what these routers can do
