Try entering http://72.14.207.99 in your browser and see if google comes up. IF it does, your provider has a dns server problem...

If you can access google via the ip address, it means that something with the dns server is wrong.Originally Posted by DonJenn
The job of a dns server is to translate a domain name like google.com into the corresponding ip address like 72.14.207.99. Internet works with ip addresses, domain names are just for us humans to remember the site (it would be hard to remember ip addresses).
If you can not access ANY domain via domain name, your provider may have a problem with their dns server (like pldt had the last 4 days).
In that case, you have to call your provider.
Are you using a router?
Right-click My Network Places, select properties, right click your connection, select properties, doubleclick Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
What is written under IP Address, Preffered DNS Server and Alternate DNS Server?
Try to follow this instructions: http://www.tindahan.biz/index.php?topic=413.0 and post back the result.
