I've played with the leaked "beta" and the visuals are just stunning, it is still running under dx9 mode though and there are no custom settings yet aside from the preset gamer and such, lowest settings IMO looks like Crysis 1 in medium settings and runs very smooth, kudos to crytek for making such a good looking engine and very scalable!

Also played the beta... Was sort of disappointed, but its still the Beta man pud..

If the Textures in the Beta are the same as in the final release I'd be very disappointed.

What settings did you play at? The textures were great! far better than Crysis1
