F ul try to assess Cebu's geographic location & back track its history, having tsunami here is near to impossible.

But if Cebuanos are so bad enough & God wants to penalize us thru a tsunami, then u dont have to worry because 1.) it's insured (though I'll confirm this in our main office because Tsunami-caused tragedy is not specifically mentioned, but Tsunami belongs to natural disaster for sure), 2.) if u will use it for business purposes, then u can still claim for the insurance benefits if ur other haus in Cebu won't be reached by tsunami & ur still alive after the tsunami to personally claim what you deserve to have, 3.) if ul use it as ur permanent residence, then make sure ur documents are securely placed somewhere else (other place in the Philippines or abroad) so that other family member (benefeciary) not living with u can claim for the insurance benefits.

By the way, are you living now in a place safe from Tsunami? If yes, then you can use your Citta di Mare unit for investment purposes.

But if ur living in a place that is still reachable by Tsunami, then ur question is of no great sense.

oh ic.. meron palang insurance na kasama.. la po me permanent resident d2 sa cebu kasi Im not originally from here.. Im just renting but Im interested to own a house on my own and thanks for the info though..
