Ionics-EMS, Inc. is hiring for the position of the following.

TEST DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
QUALIFICATION
• Male or female
• Candidate must be a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• With good management background
• Knowledgeable in C/C++ and Visual Basic Language, Visual C++ language, Linux, Perl, Database Programming and Electronics
• With good technical experience in an Electronic assembly plant and have the ability to supervise or lead people and create manufacturing test software.
• Knowledgeable in labview and labwindows programming platform would be an advantage
• PCB troubleshooting and debug
• PCB lay outing, jig design and test methodologies is a plus.

ELECTRONIC DESIGN ENGINEER I
QUALIFICATION
• Male or female
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Strong background in electronics engineering
• Basic knowledge in microprocessor-based or microcontroller-based design

ELECTRONIC DESIGN ENGINEER II
QUALIFICATION
• Male or female
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Strong background in electronics engineering
• At least 1 year experience in designing electronic systems and circuits or 2 years of experience in switch-mode power supply design
• Preferably with experience in using Mentor PADS, Cadence Allegro or equivalent EDA tools
• Average knowledge in C language programming

DESIGN LIBRARY ENGINEER I
QUALIFICATION
• Female
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics & Communications Engineering
• Basic knowledge in microprocessor-based or microcontroller-based design
• Applicants must be willing to work in Calamba City, Laguna

DESIGN LIBRARY ENGINEER II
QUALIFICATION
• Female
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics & Communications Engineering
• Strong background in electronics engineering
• At least 1 year experience in design library with emphasis on schematic symbol and component footprint creation
• Preferable with experience using Mentor PADS, Cadence OrCAD, Cadence Allegro or equivalent EDA tools

DESIGN LIBRARY TEAM LEADER
QUALIFICATION
• Female
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics & Communications Engineering
• Strong background in electronics engineering
• At least 3 years experience in design library with emphasis on schematic symbol and component footprint creation.
• Must have extensive experience in using either Mentor PADS, Cadence Orcad, Cadence Allegro or equivalent EDA tools.

SOFTWARE / FIRMWARE DESIGN ENGINEER I
QUALIFICATION
• Male or female
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Outstanding educational background (equivalent grade of 90%-100% on programming subjects)
• Strong background in C/C++, Perl. Python or other programming languages
• Basic knowledge in Application Software / Embedded System Programming

SOFTWARE / FIRMWARE DESIGN ENGINEER II
QUALIFICATION
• Male or female
• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering or Computer Engineering
• At least 1 year experience in C/C++, Perl, Python, (or other languages) programming
• At least 1 year of experience in Application Software / Embedded System programming
• At least 1 year of experience in Linux programming
• Basic knowledge in software version control systems like CVS and SVN

PCB DESIGN ENGINEER I
QUALIFICATION
• Male or female
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics & Communications Engineering
• Strong background in electronics engineering
• Basic knowledge in microprocessor-based or microcontroller-based design
• Basic knowledge in PCB layout and design

PCB DESIGN ENGINEER II
QUALIFICATION
• Male or female
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics & Communications Engineering
• Strong background in electronics engineering
• At least 1 year experience in designing multi-layer boards from parts placement to Gerber file release
• Preferably with experience in using Mentor PADS, Cadence Allegro or equivalent EDA tools

PCB DESIGN TEAM LEADER
QUALIFICATION
• Male or female
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Electronics & Communications Engineering
• Strong background in electronics engineering
• At least 3 years experience in designing multi-layer boards that involves high-speed bus and impedance controlled traces
• Must have extensive experience in using Cadence Allegro


Applicants of above positions must be willing to be assigned in Cabuyao or Calamba City, Laguna
