Hey guys!

It's been a while since I posted a new topic.

Anyhow, I'm back and I'm here to discuss to you one realization that I gained from observing friends or friends of friends.

The Truth About Revenge

They say that "Revenge is Sweet."

But if you analyze it carefully, it's not.

Again, IT'S NOT.

It is because that REVENGE IS A VICIOUS CYCLE.

What do I mean by that?

Let me give you an example:

Michelle's boyfriend cheated on her. She was really angry for what her boyfriend did to her. Eventually she will "learn" that men are jerks, they can't be trusted, everybody lies, and so on.

So she takes revenge on the whole male population by playing with them as well. (continue reading here)

i remember meeting my exhusband years ago. mao jud toy matawag nga sweet revenge. akong gi agwanta nga nakig kuyog siya namo because the kids were with me when we went to manila para mag vacation. didto mi sa enchanted kingdom. my exhubby asked my permission to be with the kids. nisugot ko so that he can see how happy we are even if he is not around and never supported us financially. ako pay nanglibre niya sa tanan2. nahilaw siya nga wala siyay maski piso. and then he went through my things and saw pics of me and my new guy. sakit jud kaau to para niya pero wala siyay mahimo. he started it all. sa akong part, igo rako ni move on. dili man kinahanglan mag revenge kay naa may karma. karma na lang ang bahala sa mga nakasala nato

A very nice thought! I never played on anybody just because someone played with me...it has always been my principle to always show love even if someone failed to do the same.

But I wouldn't say I never had a piece of revenge too. A girl once became a threat sa among relationship sa akong partner. Her presence alone is threatening coz I know my guy has an eye for her...what I did? When I came across her current bf, ako siya gidaot...but later did I realized I wasn't doing any good neither to that person nor to myself. Eventually ni-stop ra jud ko after a series of panaot and pangaway nga mails. Luckily, this girl and her bf are very understanding. Atleast, I learned my lesson there and I do hope what I did made their relationship stronger for it was a test sa love sa guy ato nga girl.
