    Default Question about 8-pin 12v ATX.


    guys mao ni ako mobo, emaxx 785g-fxn
    naa siyay 8-pin ATX 12V power connector(kaning naa sa upper left). ako PSU 4-pin ra naa nya, so mao rapud ako gi gamit ok rman pud, andar ra siya. My question is, naa ba mausab like sa performance if, 8-pin jud ako gamiton.


    e enlighten ko ninyo mga masters.hehe

    performance gain or loss? wala... its there to provide additional current traces when using higher wattage processors or extreme overclocking... the same concept with the atx 20+4 pin power connector...

    AFAIK ok ranang 4pin kung di ka in to grbeng overclocking. 300watts mn cgru ng EPS 8pin, padung na sa imu cpu para kan.on niya kung i overclock mn xa. correct me if im wrong, kay ako mobo 600watts iya ma kaon pra daw pang overclock nia tu a EPS 8pin headers. but way too much na ang 600watts pra procie hehe

    ok, copy that. thx sa quick reply Sir Werty & Sir cursemore. naniguro lng pd ko ba, ky basin nya madaot ako mobo ky 4-pin ra ako gamit. Athlon II x 2 rman sad ako proc hinoon.

    Ok ra na bro ang 4 Pins. dagan raman sad gani ang 24Pins nga Mobo using 20Pins nga PSU. unless mag OC ka...
