Im lukng to buy an itouch and i dunno if i shud get the 3rd gen or the 4th gen...

here is my question:

1. Which shud i get and why?
2. if i get the 4th gen is there an untethered,Stable jailbreak option available for it already?
3. if i get the 3rd gen is there an untethered, Stable jailbrake option available for it already?
4. how big of a problem will a jailbreak itouch give you?

4th gen. i have the iTouch 3rd gen and iPhone 4. lami gyud tan-awn ang retina display. much faster pud ang response sa touch sa iTouch 4th gens, video calling, hd video recording, camera. grabe wa juy mahay. akong itouch 3rd gen karon. wa najud gamit.

both 3rd gen and 4th gen naay untethered jailbreak. magdpende lang sa iOS version.

no camera ang 3rd gen. mas nindot screen sa 4th gen, naa pay face time n multi-tasking. y buy the old one, wen naa nay available na higher version.
naa nay jailbreak sa 4th gen via macbook, soon naa na unya na for windows. but ok rmn dili jailbreak. akong 3rd gen, 4th gen n iphone4, wa man nktilaw og jailbreak

well for starters i was lukng to buy a 2nd hand unit na 3rd gen and yes y buy the old one right? i sumtyms think that it wud be better to have a an older "reliable" one rather than have the new gen and yet there is no known untethered "reliable" jailbreak yet..but from what i ve learned so far in these threads i can see the very slight price difference of both the 3rd and 4th gen..the main reason y i want an ipod touch is that i love music very much and i also love movies...and a few hundred apps wud not hurt as well, im just terrified at the idea that if ever im gonna buy the 4th gen i wud be left with a unit that Cant be jailbrken properly..

anyways im hoping more input from y'all...

I see, well depende sa sa version na imo makuha out of the box sa imo mapalit na iPod Touch.. AFAIK, if 4.1 naa'y jailbreak na untethered, if 4.2+ tethered ra ang naa.

is there a chance na naay untethered jailbreak mu gawas para sa 4.2+? or hopeless nah? ive talked with the people sa istore and they said di na daw ma jailbreak ang 4.2+ is it true?

ma jailbreak man ang 4.2.1 bro. mao sad amo version out of the box.

pero tethered pa lang, ambot ug nana bay untethered jailbreak sa ana nga version. wa na man ko nag update2 kaayo hehe. i'll just make sure di ma low batt ug mareset akong itouch.

giingnan lang siguro ka nila nga di ma jailbreak para ma discourage ka into jailbreaking your device.

Mao2x agree ko ani.. Naa poi uban taga istore mu recommend nga ma jailbeak pana ang latest iOS para lang mka kwarta pos na sila pero for sure ma jailbreak man jud na ang 4.2.1 nga version pero wala pa lang gyud siya na release as of now so huwat2x lng sa ang mga tao..

ehehehe got myself the 4th gen 32gb...dri ra nuon istorya hehehe sulita uie...sakto diod diay mu lami kaau ang retina display! hahaaha....im hoping mu gawas na ang jailbreak para maka downlod nako ug apps...ehehehee..for now pun.on sa ko ni music...is itunes easy to use? senxa namu ha...noob lang diod kaau ko...
