Who have tried the HD6950 to HD6970 mod?

This process is not so risky since current 6950s have dual bios. Just switch to the oter bios if the flashing would fail.

techjunctions is selling 6950 that is already flash with 6970 at the same price....so you dont have to risk flashing your 6950...

ako gi flash nako ako to asus oced nga bios (890/1375), pero gi run nako ron at 900/1450...

From what I understand as long as you read and follow the instructions and no power outage will occur, its a very safe process and close to zero risk.

even if there's a power outage, it wouldn't hurt, you can just switch to the "safe bios" (2 on the switch), and re-flash the regular bios. one time the computer crashed on me while flashing to a different manufacturer's bios, so don't worry, it's still safe...
